Mt. Frey Peak, standing at around 5,830 meters, is an exquisite climbing destination in West Sikkim, located close to the Rathong Glacier and near the Kabru range with Kokthang and Rathong Peaks. The expedition route crosses the captivating Frey Glacier, featuring rocky trails with intermittent snow sections. Named after mountaineer George Frey, who attempted the climb with Tenzing Norgay, the peak holds historic significance, marked by their axe and crampons at the base. This 14–15 day expedition tests endurance while exploring Tshoka, Yuksom, and Chaurikhang. Ideal seasons are March–May and October–November.
