Trivandrum- Kovalam-Kanyakumari-Kumarakom-Thekkady-Munnar-Cochin- Alleppey-Trivandrum
Trivandrum-Kovalam (20km) : On your arrival at the Trivandrum Airport/ Railway Station our representative will receive you and drive to Kovalam for overnight hotel.(If arrived day time) Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Trivandrum – an ancient city with a tradition dating back to 1000 BC. This capital city of Kerala is a beautiful seaside metropolis built on seven hills. It is located on the west coast of India spreading over a total area of 2,192 sq.km. Sightseeing tour is comprehensive with the visits to Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Overnight stay is arranged in Kovalam.
Kovalam-Kanyakumari
Kovalam: (85km One way) After breakfast, Proceed to Kanyakumari. The name of this place has been christened after the virgin goddess – Kanyakumari Amman. This place is also a popular pilgrimage. The tourists who visit this Southern most tip of India would certainly enjoy the exuberant scenes of the sunsets, the sunrises especially on full moon days. The nature of the sand in the beaches of Kanyakumari is unique as it is multicolored. Round the year are lured by the serene beauty of this place and the spectacles of sunrise and sunset. Amidst the sea there are two rocks known as ‘twin rocks’ both contributing to the rich Indian heritage with the monuments of Swami Vivekananda and Saint Thiruvalluvar, have lunch at the beach on your own, Return to Kovalam hotel.
Kovalam-Kumarakom:
(175 4hrs) After early breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom on arrival check into the hotel. Spend the day with local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom – a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. The hamlet clings to tradition and the local population prefers to live adhering to their old ways. Choose a canoe, motor boat or a houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
Kumarakom – Thekkady
(175 4hrs) After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady , on arrival check into the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady – one of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.
Thakkady – Munnar
(130km 4hrs) After Breakfast, checkout from the Hotel and transfer to Munnar. On the way to Munnar visit Cheyyappara waterfalls. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Munnar, the journey in between Thakkedy and munnar is hill green forest drive, you you will see plenty of cardamom fields and other spices trees, you can stop by at some of the spice garden and gift shops on the way, though the prices are much expensive then town shops, also advise to carry tucks or pack lunch as there might not be suitable lunch places, unless you reached munnar town,
Munnar
Spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. Munnar was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar. Today have lunch at Munnar town after returning from Evernaculam wildlife sanctuary, the entry fee for foreigners is Rs200-25 per person and camera is Rs50. Evening back to hotel, (bring warm jackets )
Munnar – Cochin
(140km 4hrs) After breakfast, transfer to Cochin. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin – the “Queen of Arabian Sea”, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay is arranged in Cochin.

Cochin- Alleppey (Houseboat)
(75km 2hrs) After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. This is a quaint town flanked by the Arabian Sea in the west and has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it. Alleppey is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year and is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Check into the houseboat on arrival (check in time 1.00 pm). Enjoy the day with a backwater cruise on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay is on the houseboat, (here you can request them to bring to the Ayurvedic massage center, where they will park the boat and bring to these centers,
Alleppy-Trivandrum DROP
(175km 4hrs, After breakfast at around 8-9 in the house boat, Pack your luggage and transfer to shore and drive to Trivandrum airport depending on the Timings, have lunch on the way or on arrival at Trivandrum,
Flight back to home.
